Health Informatics Solution Coordinator

As a Health Informatics Solution Coordinator, you will collaborate with team members virtually to support primary care practices or specialty care providers through emails and phone calls as they participate in pilot programs being tested by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.


Essential Functions
  • Operational Support - Serves as subject matter information resource to internal and external customers. Utilizes knowledge to research and resolve issues promptly and to the customer’s satisfaction. 
  • Project Tasks – Provide input based on subject, program, and product knowledge to the business and functional requirements for software products and services, including enhancements. Completes tasks and deliverables on time.
  • Documentation - Creates and updates multiple formats of documentation, ensuring information is accurate, thorough, and follows established processes and compliance requirements (i.e. 508 compliance standards).
  • Product/Project Validation - Provides product/Project level validation to identify issues and recommend changes if needed. 
  • Training - Creates training materials. May coordinate and facilitate live or recorded training sessions. Assists with knowledge-sharing presentations.


Requirements
  • Four-year degree in business, health care, IT, and/or equivalent training and/or experience
  • 0-3 years experience in a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in healthcare quality improvement, healthcare information management, and/or healthcare information technology (HIT) is/are preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience working with Windows, all Microsoft Office products, and other PC-based software products
  • Basic knowledge and experience with database applications, data trending/graphics, and reporting tools. 
  • Knowledge of Section 508 compliance and associated document formatting is preferred.
  • Experience working in a deadline-driven environment, handling multiple tasks
  • Familiarity with health care system and/or health policy 
  • Experience working in customer service/ support and/or a customer service ticketing system 
  • In the state of Colorado, the compensation for this role is estimated to be $61,000 to $70,000 annually. Individual offers will be determined by considering factors such as location, education, experience, and internal equity.
