Quality Improvement Manager - RN

Are you passionate about quality and operational excellence in healthcare? As a Quality Improvement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operations of our contracts. Leading a dynamic team of nurses, you will focus on enhancing case management services for transitions of care and complex case management. In this role, you will drive team success by setting and achieving goals, and meeting project requirements. You will provide regular reporting and actively monitor quality performance outcomes ensuring compliance with client and contract deliverables as well as service/accreditation standards.


Essential Functions
  • An essential part of the contract leadership team.
  • Manages and leads the day-to-day operations for the assigned primary team.
  • Leads team in the creation of a strategic plan, implementation of plan, evaluation, and ongoing management to ensure contract deliverables/program requirements and evaluation measures/metrics are met and/or exceeded. When deliverables/requirements are at risk, facilitates analyses and initiatives action plan.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with team stakeholders. Provides technical assistance, including issue research and resolution. Develops and implements process improvement methods for an organization whose philosophy is continual improvement. Ensures the operations are completed in a timely, satisfactory, compliant manner
  • Coaches, guides and directs team members to achieve individual, team, and organizational objectives. Fulfills the Telligen Management Philosophy that "Managers coach, engage, and support our people to achieve results". Provides resources and support as needed to meet the departmental and Company goals and specific contract/program requirements.
  • Must have good interpersonal skills and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Must be able to host meetings and presentations with all stakeholders specifically hospital leadership, client leadership, providers, and clinic staff.


Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with an unencumbered Oklahoma license
  • Four-year degree in nursing, health care, business, public health, or a related field and/or equivalent training and/or experience
  • Must live in Oklahoma
  • 5 years of experience in a healthcare environment including care/case management and/or healthcare quality improvement
  • 3 – 5 years managing projects and/or professional staff
  • Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
  • Experience managing large teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • A master's degree in nursing preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish speaking preferred
  • Certified Case Manager preferred
  • Experience working in Transitions of Care and/or hospital setting
