Temporary Housing Program Assistant

The Housing Central Department is currently seeking a Temporary Housing Program Assistant to join their team of professionals. Duties include:

  • The Housing Program Assistant provides general support to the Housing operations staff to include: answering questions via phone, email or chat, providing information to existing and new students, setting up paperwork for new agreements, cancellations, check-out charges on student accounts other student inquiries.
  • Assists with the management of housing room assignment data entry, including processing housing agreements, room changes, and other related data entry tasks.
  • Assist with the department email accounts including responding to student inquires and distribution of emails to the appropriate staff members as needed.
  • Responsible for managing the housing call campaigns and database tracking.
  • Assist with the processing of fall/spring and summer housing agreements and coordination of housing sign-up and housing assignment.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or as directed. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing. Ability to demonstrate a strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills which includes independent problem solving.
  • Able to respond to multiple requests in a fast paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications


High school diploma or GED and five (5) years of office or related experience providing administrative support, or coordinating functions of an office or department.

Work Schedule


Between 8:30am-5:00pm, M-F


Advertised Salary


$20/Hour

Working directly with and/or residing with minors and/or vulnerable persons, including Housing Residential Life
