Tempus is at the forefront of precision medicine, utilizing AI to enhance clinical care. We're seeking a Histotechnologist who is passionate about advancing the healthcare industry to join our dedicated team.
Skills
- HT or HTL Certification preferred
- Familiarity with Leica equipment
- Knowledge of laboratory safety
- Problem solving skills
- Good communication and organization
Responsibilities
- Preparation of unstained and stained slides from tissue blocks
- Maintain laboratory equipment and record maintenance
- Follow safety requirements in the laboratory
- Perform routine workflows independently
- Develop standard operating procedures for new instruments
- Collaborate with the Tempus Labs team
- Utilize various laboratory equipment such as microtome and automated stainers
- Collaborate with pathologists for slide quality review
- Track work using a Laboratory Information Management System
Education
- Associates or Bachelor's Degree
