The Marketing Project Manager is an individual contributor position responsible for project management of strategic projects within Teradata Global Marketing organization.
This role requires strong project management experience, as well as how to apply these practices in a Marketing environment. The function also requires experience in managing multi-faceted projects, from conception through completion, and the ability to dive deeply into assigned projects and processes to remove roadblocks and keep all deliverables on schedule.
This is a 100% remote role in the US.
What You'll Be Doing
Anticipate and solve potential roadblocks associated with prioritization and resourcing contention
Work closely with all cross-functional teams, outside entities, and key stakeholders
Maintain communications and collaboration platform (Trello), work documents, project plan, and other documents relative to project/program
Deliver guidance in the execution of key marketing initiatives and facilitate cross-functional collaboration using project management expertise and best practices
Support the functional team in the execution of key projects
Ensure effective communication within the project team, including weekly status meetings with circulated meeting notes, email and calendar updates, and shared drives for project resources
What Makes you a Qualified Candidate
Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years of project management experience or related field experience
Knowledge of project management best practices, tools, and processes
Experience with cross-functional project management
Strong interpersonal, verbal and communication skills
Ability to simplify and clarify complex and ambiguous problems
Analytical and process thinking
Passion for continuous improvement and change management
Strength in facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
Ability to lead through influence and work cross-functionally
What You'll Bring
Exposure to and understanding of Project Management methodologies and approaches
PMP or other program management certifications/education preferred
