Territory Manager
Since 2014, Fund That Flip has challenged the status quo of slow, unreliable capital and gate-keeping into investment deals. We’ve grown into an end-to-end financial technology platform that helps entrepreneurs and investors generate wealth and make an impact in their own communities across the country.
We are doubling down on our commitment to increasing our total addressable market and amplifying revenue growth. For our Territory Managers, that means owning client, prospect, and center-of-influence relationships in a specific geographic territory.
Who You Are:
You are the engine that powers our sales force with the primary goal of increasing market share and growing the territory’s book of business. You will provide leadership and direction to the members of your team. You'll have the opportunity to flex your entrepreneurial skills to develop and execute business strategies that grow your book and income.
What You’ll Do:
A Week in the Life:
It’s Monday, your chance to get plugged in on goals and strategy for the week. Each day, you join a morning call to review deals in the closing pipeline. Once you’re clear on the status of current deals and strategy for the week, you’ll do some prospecting to identify new opportunities to chase throughout the week. You’ll confirm meetings for the week, call on and follow up with active clients, and perhaps visit a project site with an existing client, creating notes in the CRM as you go.
Midweek is filled with coffee and lunch meetings, visits to job sites, happy hours, and real estate events. You’ll review your active deals with your inside sales partner, helping remove barriers through your relationships with the clients. During the week, you’ll be a road warrior, driving neighborhoods on the lookout for new builders and active sites to cold call on, taking meetings on the go, and spending time face to face with clients and prospects.
You’ll wrap up the week with an all-sales team meeting to provide updates and knowledge sharing from the week. Fridays are for follow up on outstanding activities from the week and making sure the CRM has up to date information about all prospects and active client projects. You might head into the weekend networking at a real estate investors happy hour, padding your prospect list to pick up on Monday.
Your First 90 Days in the Role
Your training will begin with some Fund That Flip basics (who are we, what do we do, where does the TM role fit into the org). This is delivered in a combination of training in-person at our offices in Cleveland, shadowing Regional Sales Directors, joining meetings with other parts of the business, and through discussion with other Territory Managers and Sales Leaders.
You’ll accomplish early success in the role by showing initiative, bringing prospecting ideas and local market expertise, asking great questions, keeping a big picture focus, and intentionally building a deep understanding of Fund That Flip’s unique value proposition in your territory.
