That’s on the north lawn of the State Capitol, about four blocks south of the University of Texas.You must be a Texas resident to work for the Texas Workforce Commission or willing to relocate to Texas.What You’ll DoThe Legal Analyst performs advanced (senior-level) consultative services and technical assistance work. Work involves planning, developing, and implementing major agency program(s) and providing consultative services and technical assistance to program staff, government agencies, community organizations, or the general public. May serve as lead worker providing direction to others. Works under limited supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgmentResponsibilities Will Include• Weekly case review and research for unemployment insurance, labor law, wage claim, and employment and housing discrimination cases.• Research and advise policy staff and Chairman on agency policy actions in over 20workforce-related programs, including Adult Education and Literacy, Apprenticeship, Childcare, Vocational Rehabilitation, and more.
