We are a group of clinical professionals that understand the needs of patients, medical professionals, health systems and payers. A main focus of our practice is:We are looking for a multi-state licensed, collaborative psychiatrist who has a passion for improving the lives of others. The collaborating physician’s role will be responsible for supervision of assigned psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners in applicable states respectively. The right candidate must have strong clinical experience in treating common mental health issues, along with expert skills in providing appropriate patient care.This is a remote roleDuties & Responsibilities:• Physician will provide approximately 10-15 hours/month of collaborative practice oversight and mentorship for each assigned psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, along with required chart audit/review as required by law.• Collaboration/supervision with assigned nurse practitioners, which includes conducting patient chart audits on a monthly basis.• Fulfillment of any state-specific requirements as a collaborator.• Ability to effectively evaluate, assess, and properly document.• Must be clinically strong in treating common mental health issues, function autonomously and have strong critical thinking skills to provide appropriate care.• Available to provide input concerning clinical cases involving complexity, emergencies, and referrals.• Evaluations and check-in with assigned nurse practitioners concerning patient care and the collaborative relationship shall also occur as required by applicable laws and regulations.Qualifications:• Active MD/DO license, psychiatric specialization (multiple state licensure strongly preferred- PA, MD, TN, AZ, AL, TX)• Active licenses in good standing• Candidates must be board certified physicians, and have a strong clinical background (mental health experience; 5 years minimum experience required)• Experience with electronic medical records is required. Also required is proficiency with various computer based applications such as Microsoft Office.• Highly motivated, self-directed professional with strong organizational skills and comfortable working independently on a daily basis.• Excellent clinical assessment and analytical skills.• Effective leadership and interpersonal skills; facilitates problem resolution and maintains a professional demeanor in difficult situations.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.• Able to collaborate with multiple PMHNP’sIf you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 94 - 158 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.Qualified applicants will be considered without regard to race, color, age, disability, sex, childbirth (including pregnancy) or related medical conditions including but not limited to lactation, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, veteran or military status, religion, national origin, ancestry, marital or familial status, genetic information, status with regard to public assistance, citizenship status or any other characteristic protected by applicable equal employment opportunity laws.Please note that you must meet our posting guidelines to be eligible for consideration.
