The City of Fort Worth is seeking a Building Plans Examiner to support the Development Services Department in promoting safe construction and orderly development in one of the fastest-growing cities in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Reviewing and processing building applications
Interpreting regulations, laws, and ordinances
Assisting contractors and the public with plans and applications
Entering and updating examination and application data in the computer system
Revising original plans as necessary
