The City of Fort Worth seeks a Consumer Health Specialist to join their Environmental Health Services Department. This role involves ensuring consumer and environmental health standards through inspections, investigations, and community education.

Responsibilities

Conduct health inspections of food establishments, childcare centers, and public swimming pools.
Investigate foodborne illnesses and health complaints.

Issue citations or permit suspensions as necessary.
Conduct health education programs for the public.
Coordinate special events and mosquito surveillance programs.

Education

Bachelor's degree in a basic or applied science or related field
