Customer Service Representative

Job Summary: 
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) will play a crucial role in ensuring that all requests for services, including Independent Medical Examinations (IME), Record Reviews, Depositions, or diagnostic tests, are scheduled with professionals meeting The IMA Group standards. 
 
The compensation for this role is $20-21 per hour depending on experience. 
 
Responsibilities: 

- Effectively manage a high volume of incoming emails and calls from clients and attorneys as well as
fellow staff members or physician offices.
- Schedule and manage assigned IMEs case load from the request to case completion including
selection of the Reviewer for the IME.
- Maintain the confidentiality of claimant information.
- Schedule transportation and translation services as needed for claimants.
- Request and retrieve the relevant medical records for the IME appointment.
- Attend Monthly CSR Meetings & One on One Meeting with Manager
- Assist in building sustainable business relationships through open and interactive communication
with attorneys and paralegals.
-Ensure proper customer service is delivered to clients per client protocol.
- Address client complaints and issues, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives, and follow up
to ensure resolution. Escalate complex complaints and issues to Liability Manager as appropriate.
-Process copies of Radiology images to be sent to the Provider for the IME.
 -Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies.

 
Qualifications: 
  • Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent (associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred). 
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience; Preferred 2-3 years of relevant experience.
