Judge Healthcare is seeking a Certified Professional Coder for a HYBRID role with one of our biggest clients in Philadelphia, PA!• Type: W2 ongoing Contract (benefits are available)• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM• Location: Philadelphia, PA 19104 (parking available)• Work Arrangement: Hybrid model – in-office every day for the first 90 days, then transition to 4 days in the office per month based on satisfactory performanceJob Description:Are you a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Coder looking to make a significant impact? You’ll be at the heart of our operations, reviewing and interpreting physician service documentation in patient records to report physician activities with precision. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for coding, this is the perfect opportunity for you!Responsibilities:• Review and Analyze Patient Records• Dive into up to 90 patient charts per day, ensuring every detail is captured.• Abstract diagnoses, physician services, and procedures with an impressive 95% accuracy.• Swiftly abstract charts of patients no longer under care within two working days of discharge, 90% of the time.Code Diagnoses and Procedures• Masterfully complete ICD-10 and CPT-4 coding with 95% accuracy.• Tackle documentation issues within four hours of identification, 90% of the time.• Provide prompt and insightful responses to physician inquiries within two hours, offering recommendations and solutions.Qualifications:• CPC certification (Certified Professional Coder) is required.• 2-3 years of coding experience, specializing in Critical Care and E/M (Evaluation and Management) coding.• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in coding and documentation.
