Payroll and Benefits Auditor

The Matian Firm, APC in Los Angeles is looking for a detail-oriented Payroll/Benefits Administrative Support to provide support to the Payroll/Benefit Supervisor. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a high-growth, dynamic environment, contributing to both payroll and benefits operations.

Skills

Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
Experience with bank reconciliation processes
Familiarity with ADP Workforce for payroll
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Organizational and multitasking abilities

Responsibilities

Audit invoices related to payroll and benefits
Audit state tax jurisdictions
Handle day-to-day payroll functions for 300+ employees
Ensure compliance with tax and wage regulations
Oversee benefits enrollments and assist employees with benefits inquiries
Respond to 401(k) inquiries and manage annual catch-up contribution enrollment
Monitor accounts receivable reports and reconcile accounts receivables ledger
Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
