Packing and shipping sales associate - job 1 of 2

We are a local pack, ship and print shop located on Route 44 between Millbrook and Pleasant Valley. Fast paced environment with a large variety of services provided. Candidates should be flexible and versatile with the ability to adapt to ever changing tasks. Ideal candidates will be adept with computer skills as well as hand tools and measuring tape.

Knowledge of carpentry *required* for this position as it requires someone who is good with basic hand tools, Skill saw, drills, tape measure, fractions and a calculator. Estimating the shipping and packing costs for artwork, antiques and general merchandise as well as the actual packing and crating of the shipments.

Duties may include but not limited to:

**Delivery driver using our vans, up to 200 miles radius.

**Cashier, retail counter, customer service

**Answering phones and emails

**Crating and Packing of items to prepare for shipping.

**Heavy lifting required, must be able to lift / manage up to 50 lb packages as well as help with moving furniture, loading and unloading trucks.

**Able to drive delivery van for local delivery and Currier type service.

**Keep clean and safe work environment.

**Must be organized and detail oriented

**Notary is required or willing to get notary within 2 months of being hired.

Compensation contingent on experience and ability. Starting at $17.00 with room to increase.

Full time position for qualified people 40 hr week, 8 hours days M-F Alternating. Saturdays required.
