This role is critical in overseeing the entire order-to-cash process, ensuring accurate billing, collections, revenue recognition, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of GAAP, strong leadership abilities, and a proven track record in managing revenue accounting functions.The Impact You'll Make• Manage end-to-end order cash process, with responsibility for ensuring timely and accurate billing, collections, revenue recognition, reconciliation, and reporting• Review sales tax calculations and manage sales tax inquiries from clients. Reconcile sales tax records with returns filed.• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions.• Reconcile revenue and other financial accounts.• Participate in the development of new products to determine the recording of revenue and develop key controls and new or enhanced reporting as necessary.• Serve as subject matter expert on billing systems for upgrades and process changes.• Collaborate with IT, sales, and other internal groups in process improvement initiatives.• Review contracts to interpret terms and conditions and determine revenue recognition.• Coordinate the collection of overdue accounts.• Hire, train, and provide direction to billing staff.• Ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).• Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.• Coordinate with external auditors and manage the audit process.What You've Accomplished• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, with experience in billing and revenue.• Knowledge of sales tax recognition.• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.• Proficient in accounting software (NetSuite strongly preferred), Google Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite.• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.• Strong leadership and team management abilities.• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.• High attention to detail and accuracy.TWCo Benefits/Perks• Progressive family plan benefits• Benefits effective day 1 of employment include competitive 401K match with no vesting requirement, national health, dental, and vision plans• Variety of medical insurance options including a $0 cost premium employee coverage• An opportunity to work for a global and industry-leading technology company• Impactful work in a collaborative environment• Hybrid work model• Flexible time off
