If you enjoy working as part of a collaborative team, where everybody contributes to successful client outcomes and has the opportunity to grow individually and refine their legal skills, this position is for you.

We work a hybrid schedule with an in-office requirement Monday-Wednesday and the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday.

Job Description

  • Litigate an array of commercial, regulatory and employment matters independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Perform routine litigation tasks such as legal research, writing briefs/motions, interviewing witnesses, conducting investigations, drafting/responding to discovery, taking/defending depositions, mediating, negotiating, conducting arbitrations and trials as a first or second chair.
  • Counsel and advise operating companies on a broad range of legal matters, including those involving tort or contract issues, intellectual property issues, U.S. food and beverage regulatory matters, commercial disputes, and labor and employment matters, among others.
  • Build and maintain close relationships with our clients advising them of risk, informing them of their legal rights and obligations, and offering "outside the box" solutions to everyday business problems.

Qualifications

  • 3-6 years of experience practicing litigation in a top-tier U.S. law firm preferred.*
  • JD from an accredited law school.
  • Fluent Spanish speaker a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal and written skills required.
  • Ability to provide top-quality, proactive, accurate, and effective legal representation in a fast-moving environment with minimal supervision.
  • Member in good standing of California State Bar.

*Don’t meet every single requirement? Studies have shown that women and underrepresented minorities are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. At Roll Law Group, we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.

Pay Range: $160,000 - $260,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills, experience, and qualifications.
