We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Procurement & Risk Analyst to join our compliance team. In this role, you will collaborate with all departments to review and enhance business tooling, manage contracts, and oversee vendor relationships. You will also be responsible for developing comprehensive training materials to support these initiatives, ensuring effective implementation and compliance across the organization.

Location:

This position will be based in Austin, Texas, offering a flexible hybrid schedule to be determined based on the candidate's preference.

What You'll Do:

Contract Management  

  • Review & negotiate vendor contracts and proactively renegotiate renewals, integrating Legal Operations, Compliance, & Security processes as needed to complete initial vendor assessments and contract completion.

  • Track milestones of current vendor contracts and review processes. 

  • Maintain and develop vendor relationships to manage vendor inventory, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. 

Procurement Process

  • Perform annual and ad-hoc vendor security and compliance re-assessments and audits. 

  • Continue developing, fine-tuning, and iterating procurement processes.

  • Assist with creating and maintaining internal training materials and educating business teams on compliance and procurement matters. 

Collaborate 

  • Assist Legal Operations and Finance in managing vendor lifecycle by monitoring business tool utilization and proactively identifying efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities.

  • Partner with Compliance and Legal Operations to identify compliance and legal requirements and ensure accurate company systems maintenance, tracking, and implementation.

  • Work with internal partners as a trusted advisor to facilitate smooth business transactions.

What We're Looking For:

As we evaluate candidates across all roles, we look for folks with a strong sense of ownership, great communication and collaboration skills, and a dedication to continuous improvement.

  • 4+ years of experience in procurement, third-party management, and contractual risk analysis.

  • You bring proficiency in synthesizing information and composing reports/analyses

  • Willingness to make reasoned decisions based on available information considering the broader impact on the organization. 

  • Organized - You can develop and maintain order while documenting, filing, and coordinating tasks.

  • Communication - You can effectively convey information verbally and in writing while communicating concisely, internally and externally.

  • Accountability - You take responsibility for your work, establish trust, and are receptive to feedback. 

  • Collaboration - You seek out and engage in group participation to complete or improve work. Work effectively with others positively and productively.

  • Technical - Functional knowledge of Google Workspaces and Office products. Nice to have JIRA and Confluence experience.
