Job Title: Therapist

Location: District Healthcare Services HQ

District Healthcare Services is seeking a qualified Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing evidence-based therapy and counseling services to individuals, couples, families, and groups.

Responsibilities:

Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing individualized treatment plans for clients
Providing evidence-based therapy and counseling services to clients, including individual, couples, family, and group therapy
Monitoring clients' progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists or social workers, to coordinate care
Maintaining accurate and confidential client records and documentation
Keeping up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of therapy and counseling
Adhering to ethical and professional standards, such as maintaining boundaries and avoiding dual relationships
Providing crisis intervention and referrals to other resources when necessary.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field
Active license or certification as a therapist or counselor in the state of DC, MD, and VA
Experience providing evidence-based therapy and counseling services.
Knowledge of ethical and professional standards in therapy and counseling
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
