Job Description


The Third Party Security Senior Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of the regional TPS program following standard operating procedures that ensure the completeness and accuracy of assessment documentation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure global framework is appropriately embedded and systemically delivered within the region
  • Monitor and react to regional KPIs and identify regional process improvement initiatives
  • Conduct security assessments of NEW and EXISTING Third Party entities (Supplier, Reseller, Joint Ventures) - identifying areas of conformance and non-conformance to Experian requirements, driving security contract language and inputs into the Risk Management Process.
  • Validate work / peer review of other in region assessments
  • Participate in contractual agreement reviews with sales, procurement, legal, and compliance
  • Build effective relationships with GSO, business partners, the wider second line and third line of defense governance partners
  • Escalation handling and day to day process management
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of the TPS program
  • Provide proactive consultancy to other teams within Information Security, Governance and the Business to assist in improving the security posture of third party organizations
  • Partner with Global TPS colleagues to ensure best practice is shared across all regional teams
  • Identify information security deficiencies, risks and exceptions to appropriate parties as soon as possible. Ensure 1LoD ownership and ensure non-compliance issues, exception justification, mitigation controls and risks are appropriately captured
  • Prepare statistical reports on compliance deficiency trends and violations
  • Research, develop, deploy and implement automation and efficiency tools to maximize output

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant field or equivalent demonstrable experience.
  • CISP, CISA, CISM, PCI QSA ISO Lead Auditor or comparable certifications preferable
  • 7-10 years’ experience performing IT / Information Security Reviews
  • 8+ years of experience in security field specially around security assessments or audit field
  • Solid experience reviewing and negotiating information security elements within third party contractual agreements
  • Must have a strong technical background with prior hands-on experience a plus
  • Must be process driven with a strong eye for detail and efficiency / automation opportunities
  • Ability, drive and motivation to research and provide the right guidance and find possible solutions. Ability to push back where the risk outweighs the benefits
  • Curiosity to ask questions and challenge status quo
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem Solving & Analysis
  • Process driven, and has eye for detail, automation and efficiency to improve programs / processes.
  • Good collaboration, relationship and interpersonal skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is listed above. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience and education.
