Funding Options joined the Tide family in early 2023 to lead our Partner Credit Services offering. What we’re looking for:

As an experienced Partnerships Manager, you’ll be accountable for establishing relationships with new partners in the SME Space and collaborating with other teams across the business to ensure effective ongoing relationships.

You will work with both our Lending Partners - focused on managing, strengthening and supporting our brilliant lender-panel as well as our Acquisition Partners - to deliver a consistent flow of high-quality business enquiries and ensure we exceed expectations on both sides of the relationship. Essentially managing a mix of key demand and supply side relationships.

Our Partners are an important part of the Funding Options team, and you will work closely with a range of partners in a variety of ways.

 

Some of the things you’ll be doing:

  • Operating as the sole point of contact for a number of our valued lender partners. Acting as the conduit between the lender partners and our internal Business Finance Specialists team to drive optimal customer and commercial outcomes. You will be accountable for core metrics of revenue with each partner. 
  • Collaborating with internal teams to design and execute on commercial opportunities and campaigns with our partners, this includes driving internal process enhancements where necessary to facilitate partner enablement.
  • Identifying, negotiating, acquiring and successfully onboard a portfolio of strategic Partners who will deliver to our customers.
  • Take the lead in analysing performance data of our partners and lenders and propose insights and strategic ideas for growing the business channel.
  • Produce and present Partner / Lender performance reports.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to design and execute these partnerships and campaigns, this includes driving internal process enhancements where necessary to facilitate partner enablement.
  • Being a point of contact for internal partner referral onboarding operations, liaising and coordinating between the KYC, Onboarding and Marketing Data teams to ensure partner referrals are assessed and processed within specified SLA’s and prioritised onboarding is maintained.

 

What makes you a great fit:

  • Previous experience working within a partnerships channel to drive commercial outcomes is essential.
  • Experience of managing partnerships within the alternative finance space in the UK
  • A broad awareness of the alternative finance ecosystem in the UK
  • A comprehensive understanding of small business customers’ financing needs
  • You have a high level of spoken and written English communication skills and are able to explain complex information in a simple and easy to understand way.
  • You have excellent administration and organisational skills
  • You are detail oriented and highly organised: you can manage many projects, relationships, and initiatives all at once
  • You have a proven ability to allocate the correct resources and prioritise tasks.
  • You are highly focused on commercial opportunities and the delivery of incremental value
  • You have great communication skills and are able to explain complex information in a simple and easy to understand way.
  • You have excellent customer service skills and you love to help people and are naturally solution-oriented
  • You are autonomous and take initiative to get the job done.
  • You are a natural team player who utilises the diverse skills across the team.
  • You have strong stakeholder management skills coupled with an ability to leverage external capabilities to achieve joint success.
