Tier II Support Technician

The Quadient Digital Print Group (DPG) is a highly motivated, dynamic and hardworking team that is responsible for supporting it's various sales and support channels that distribute and service our printing and material handling machines for the mailing and packaging industries.
The Tier II Support Technician is a key part of our support team that is responsible for helping our dealers, OEM's and sales organizations before and after the sale.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide professional level Technical support via telephone and email for all DPG hardware and software products.

Perform machine quality control, updates and branding using our defined guidelines

Use DPG equipment to produce sales samples

Perform actual sample testing to provide solution(s) to sales or support along with a written report of the solution.

Troubleshoot and repair all Digital Print Group machines

Operations support with warehouse shipping, receiving and equipment handling duties.

Required Skills & Experience:

1-5 years in a technical support capacity working on printing and/or material handling equipment

Technical / Vocational training in electronics and/or electromechanical equipment repair experience. Actual multimeter use will be required.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong PC and Microsoft Office aptitude

Sharp learning curve when using software programs

Self-starter and self-motivated

Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

This position has an hourly pay range of:

$20.14-$30.24
