About the TeamThe vision of the Global Business Marketing Team is to create a global brand that amplifies our mission and establishes TikTok as a unique and critical investment for the industry we serve.Fostering best in class creative work on our platform, inspiring the industry through storytelling and showcasing our unique business brand at scale is the core focus of our collective team.Our purpose is to inspire, educate and unlock the possibilities on TikTok for the marketing community and businesses of all sizes.TikTok's Global Brand Studio produces business entertainment that promotes TikTok-first thinking, servicing global business marketing teams and regional business marketing teams through a scalable approach.The studio is comprised of world-class production experts, designers, and events professionals dedicated to showing our agency partners and clients how best to show up on TikTok.We have a passion for, and deep knowledge of TikTok as a platform, and are full of ideas that will help propel the platform into the future.The Global Brand Studio Environmental Designer will be responsible for concepting, rendering, and bringing to life immersive experiences across some of TikTok most influential B2B event moments.The Environmental Designer will be responsible for ensuring creativity and joy are central to everything we make and put out into the industry ecosystem.They will have the ability to deliver thoughtful solutions that help brands and agencies understand how TikTok can impact their businesses.Finally, this versatile designer should be capable of prioritizing workload with respect to asset delivery, render times, and pushing the envelope creatively.The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking designer with proven experience bringing live events and experiential activations to life.A deep understanding of the experiential marketing landscape, along with a strong passion for innovative design, is essential for this role.Key candidates will have deep knowledge of the B2B events and extensive knowledge of major tentpoles and industry events like CES, AdWeek, Cannes Lions, SXSW, and NewFronts.This position reports to the Environmental Design Lead. Responsibilities- Collaborate with Creative Development, Design, and Events teams to develop innovative concepts for experiential marketing campaigns that align with business objectives.Create detailed renderings, sketches, and visualizations to effectively communicate design ideas to stakeholders and partners ( stage design, large scale environmental design within major tentpole events.Fly-through's are a plus).- Conduct research to gather inspiration, identify emerging technologies, and explore new techniques to enhance experiential design strategies.• Develop and maintain strong relationships with fabrication partners, vendors, and suppliers by working closely to source materials, props, and technologies required for seamless execution of each project.• Translate products and services into interactive activations and installations that engage the senses.- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and ensuring high-quality deliverables.• Attend project meetings and presentations to provide creative input and address any design-related concerns or challenges.• Participate in on-site installations and provide creative direction to ensure that the final experience matches the intended design vision.• Conduct post-project evaluations and analyze feedback to continuously improve the effectiveness of our experiential marketing efforts.• Help grow and educate existing the Studio team regarding environmental design. - Provide accurate and frequent status reporting within Global Brand Studio team.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications- Minimum 5 years of experience of post-college experience as an Experiential Designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in concept development, rendering, and experiential design.• Proficiency in design software including Adobe Creative Suite, 3D modeling software (SketchUp, CAD, Rhino, and / or Vectorworks, and rendering tools including SUPodium, Vray, 3D Max, Cinema4D, Blender, etc.• Excellent visual and verbal communication skills to effectively convey design ideas and collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and production partners.• Great organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and design quality.• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome design and fabrication challenges.- The ability to accurately scope projects, define requirements, and design to budget.Preferred Qualifications- Background in interior, industrial, scenic, or architectural design- Agency, production company, or entertainment company experience, preferred.• Additional skills in motion graphics development for sizzle reels, webinars, explainer videos and more - working with software such as Adobe After Effects, Blender, Maya, Cinema4D, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, Da Vinci, etc.• Willingness to travel and work on-site during installations and events, as required.Last updated : 2024-08-11
