Join us in shaping communication at ByteDance!What You Will Do- Collaborate closely with R&D teams and language experts to assess work meetings, ensure clear communication of the intended meaning, providing valuable feedback.- Translate technical documents and provide simultaneous interpretation support during work meetings.- Monitor and proofread translation output from both internal and outsourced translators.- Compile and maintain glossaries and perform other language-related tasks as requested by senior team members.- Accurately annotate Chinese/English data for model training, ensuring consistency and accuracy throughout the process.QualificationsMinimum Requirements:- Work experience in translation/interpretation, with the ability to translate technical and general documents between Chinese and English.- Bachelor's Degree in translation/interpretation or equivalent practical experience, with strong English communication skills.- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.- Experience in simultaneous interpretation between Chinese and English.Preferred Qualifications:- Relevant translation experience in the technology field is preferred.TikTok is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives.
