That's how we drive impact - for ourselves, our company, and the communities we serve.Join us.About the teamYou will join a team within our Tech and Product team that plays a pivotal role in enabling our organization to adhere to regulatory, compliance and security requirements, building and maintaining robust compliance practices, and facilitating change effectively.About the roleAs a Technical Security and Compliance Engineering Program Manager, you will be the technical compliance partner who will drive implementation of compliance requirements in relation to strategic planning, new feature release and technology architecture modifications for cross-functional engineering teams within Technology and Product.- Strategize with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions to ambiguous problems while facing uncertainties to mitigate risk.- Support cross-functional regulatory, security and compliance initiatives.- Assist in the development and maturity of compliance guidelines and required documentation for stakeholder teams to achieve adherence to regulatory requirements through analysis of use cases.- Apply policies and guidelines to Engineering functions to enable compliance.- Help support the improvement, and maintenance of guidelines for the security of our U.S. TikTok Users.- Deliver Compliance Training for Technical engineering audiences.- Identify potential areas of compliance gaps and propose mitigation strategies or remediation solutions for risk reduction.- Establish and maintain compliance testing/monitoring, dashboards and management reporting.- Support Engineering teams with regulatory and legal inquiries and audit requests for information. Partner by helping to review and prepare responses.2. Deliver Technical Expertise and Program Support- Provide program support within several cross-functional areas which include USDS Engineering teams such as Infrastructure, Platform, Product Engineering, Product Management, Data & Algorithm, Data Science and peer compliance teams.- Data Processing Expertise: Develop solid understanding of back-end big data processing and business processes in engineering teams.- Support risk assessment to inform compliance roadmaps and prioritization.- Ability to clearly distill compliance requirements into internal requirements and partner with Engineering teams to design and build compliance and security controls.- Excellent project management skills to deliver complex initiatives in a fast-moving environment.3. Security and Compliance Operations- Conduct technical investigations in response to compliance-related events, partnering with the engineering teams to identify root causes, vulnerabilities or non-compliance.- Conduct technical investigations in response to security-related events, partnering with the incident response team to identify root causes, vulnerabilities or non-compliance.- Serve as a liaison between security functions and business units involved in incidents and remediation to address any security-related issues swiftly and efficiently in order to enhance collaboration and cross-functional partnerships.- Act as gatekeeper to maintain compliance process and controls within engineering functions.In order to enhance collaboration and cross-functional partnerships, among other things, at this time, our organization follows a hybrid work schedule that requires employees to work in the office 3 days a week, or as directed by their manager/department. We regularly review our hybrid work model, and the specific requirements may change at any time.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications- Fast learner with strong attention to detail; able to pick up complex concepts quickly.- Feels comfortable working in ambiguous situations where solutions are not immediately certain.- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field (equivalent experience may be considered).- Previous experience in a security assurance or compliance role, with a focus on documentation, communication, and liaison functions.- Experience executing data governance, data protection, change management processes preferred- 3 to 5 years experience working within compliance programs; experience with regulatory and legal compliance frameworks- Strong understanding of industry-specific compliance standards and regulations.Preferred Qualifications- Familiarity with advertising systems and business processes.- Experience reporting risk (KRIs/KPIs) within a global enterprise, developing a culture of risk informed decision making.- Experience with GDPR reporting, privacy reporting, or regulatory compliance reporting- Experience with preparing executive report and/or dashboards- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.- GCIH, GCIA, or CISSP, CCP, CCE, CRCM or CCEP (or industry-specific) compliance certification are a plus- Proficient in G-Suite tools.- Passion for maintaining a high standard of work.- Familiarity with privacy laws and regulations- Usage and interest in short video platforms.- Resilience and persistence to handle routine daily tasks efficiently and accurately.- Track record of consistently meeting company metrics placed in a scorecard.- Your ability to work in a high tempo environment, adapt, respond to day-to-day challenges of the role.- Your resilience and commitment to self-care to manage the emotional demands of the role.Candidates for this position must be legally authorized to work in the United States. As such, this role will be subject to strict national security-related screening.Job Information:【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (annually)The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $102600 - $231120 annually.Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
