About the TeamWe’re looking for a highly talented and motivated individual to join the TikTok for Business Web team as a UX / UI Designer.TikTok for Business Web is responsible for developing and delivering communications strategies that advance TikTok's offering its products, value and vision among the business community.Our focus is on impact, positioning and consistency for the purpose of creating a unified and coordinated TikTok experience for businesses.As a UX / UI Designer for our TikTok for Business website, you will be responsible for designing and improving the user experience of our digital eco-system.You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and regions, including content designers, developers, product managers, and marketing teams to create an intuitive and engaging user interface.Your focus will be to ensure that our website is user-friendly, easy to navigate, and visually appealing, while also meeting our business goals of driving product adoption and conversion.They are naturally curious and passionate about the brand and storytelling journey. They thrive working within a team and have experience partnering with cross-functional disciplines and regions.This person should have a self-starter mentality with strong strategy, communication, organization and project management skills.They should possess a collaborative and entrepreneurial work ethic with the ability to give and take feedback gracefully, make recommendations and provide opinions.Responsibilities - Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visually represent user interface designs, modules, functionalities and web pages.• Create and maintain style guides, design systems, and UI patterns. - Continuously evaluate and improve the user experience of the website through user testing and analysis in partnership with strategy team.• Ensure design consistency and adherence to brand guidelines. - Partner closely with PM, web producer and web developers on design + functionality requirements to ensure design and quality output.• Keep up to date with emerging UX trends, best practices, and technologies. - Communicate, educate and evangelize on the importance of user experience to cross functional teams.• Ability to self manage project timelines, milestones and pro-actively communicate updates during weekly standup.Minimum Qualifications - Minimum 3 years of experience in UI / UX design for web and mobile apps. - Strong portfolio that demonstrates creativity, attention to detail, and empathy for users.Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, etc. - Experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs;experience in creating design systems or using pre-built design systems. - Keen on business insight, pro-actively discover customer pain points or design opportunities, and can carry out experience innovation and design drive through diversified design methods.• Deep understanding of user-centered design, responsive design, and the best design practices. Preferred Qualifications - Ability to work with team members, iterate solutions and design complete user experiences efficiently and intelligently.• Ability to work in a fast-paced and ownership-driven environment.Last updated : 2024-07-29
