A Brief Overview

Serving as the Post Closing Specialist for Highland Title and Escrow, you will be accountable for post closing activities that are conducted timely and correctly. You will work closely with your supervisor to perform the essential duties of the position and achieve deliverables that reflect exceptional customer service. This position is ideal if you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have exceptional post closing and/or disbursement skills including the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.

Essential Duties

• Tracks and receives files from settlement attorney

• Reviews all documents are properly signed and notarized

• Organizes and scans executed closing documents

• Balances funds, cuts checks, prepare wires

• Disburses closed files, sends payments for invoices, proceeds, etc.

• Prepare documents for recording with land records office, tracks and verifies recording; including electronic submissions

• Sends final original loan document package to new mortgage

• Assist with final audit of file

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 
  At least 2 years of experience working in post closing and/or disbursement.

• Ability to multitask and achieve results through managing and collaborating with others

• Excellent communication, proofreading, and management skills

• Highly computer literate with expertise in ResWare preferred.

• Experience with Microsoft

You are an experienced title and escrow professional with post closing and/or disbursement experience. You efficiently and accurately process a high volume of work with minimal oversight. Strong written communication, a natural intellectual curiosity, and a desire to think outside the box are required.
