If you’re reading this, you’re someone who knows what it takes to close deals and build relationships that matter. I’m looking for a Senior Account Executive (we also call this a Senior Partnerships Director) to join us and take the lead on key accounts, driving growth for TLDR’s sponsorship business and working with top enterprise clients and agencies. You’ll be working directly with me as we shape how TLDR partners with the biggest names in tech and media. I've worked at companies like TikTok and Lattice, and believe in activating people's highest potential to achieve their goals.

Our mission is to build the paper of record for the tech industry, the trusted source that people who work in tech rely on to inform them about important trends and developments.
About the Role
Own a target account list and develop account plans for winning and expanding business with enterprise companies and marketing agencies
Lead complex negotiations with target enterprise companies and marketing agencies
Develop prospecting and outbound strategies to create and nurture opportunities
Lead and contribute to team projects to develop and refine our sales process
Work directly with Valerie Bartlett, VP of Sales.
About You
5+ years of B2B sales experience in a quota-carrying closer role with a track record of top performance in the media industry
Proven ability to lead complex negotiations and manage six-figure deals from end to end with enterprise buyers and agencies
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous, fast-paced collaborative environment
Existing relationships with marketers within enterprises and B2B marketing agencies are a big plus

Base salary for this role is $100,000 - $150,000, plus additional performance-based compensation via our sales incentive plan for an OTE of $175,000-$250,000

You're not a good fit for this role if you:
Have only worked in B2B SaaS and have no media sales experience. This is business critical.
Rely solely on BDRs to build pipeline. You will have to outline how you prospect.
Enjoy large teams and that "in-person group feeling" at work. We are a remote company.
Are not a top performer in a lean sales team. We will ask you where you're ranked.
Don't have much knowledge or experience of the tech ecosystem. We will ask.
