Holland & Sherry’s Owings Mills warehouse is looking for a dynamic, energetic Administrative Assistant to join our fabric design team. We are a leading provider of high-quality fabrics, known for our commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction. Our fabric division is at the heart of our operations, and we are seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to support our team and contribute to our ongoing success.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Some interior design or textile industry experience is a plus but not essential; the most important thing is that you be interested and eager to learn
What the job will be:
• Learning the ins and outs of our fabric line so your knowledge makes you indispensable to the Creative Director and designers on our team
• Maintain and organize files, studio libraries, and databases
• Maintain department calendar, schedule meetings and record keeping
• Assist with the preparation and distribution of reports, presentations, and other documents
• Support for Wholesale accounts: maintaining client reports and company databases including shipping and receiving actions, back-up for orders and communication
• Coordinate and assist with special projects as needed
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Qualifications:
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Experience using Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, is preferred
• Proven experience learning a wide array of software programs
• Associate’s Degree or equivalent job experience is preferred
Salary: commensurate with experience. This is a full-time, office-based position. Start date: ASAP
