About the Role:
TOMS is looking for a seasoned Director, ERP & Reporting to manage and lead all technical delivery & operations for TOMS’s SAP AFS & BI workstreams. The Director, ERP & Reporting will leverage both functional and technical knowledge across order-to-cash touchpoints, pricing, discounting, available-to-promise (ATP) to effectively continue to evolve the solution in both functionality and operational efficiency.
With an emphasis on project work, the Director will work closely with various business partners including Sales, Supply Chain, Product, Finance, and 3rd party providers to outline and prioritize key business initiatives considering the team’s capacity and budgets. The Director will drive the strategy, design, and execution of ERP and Business Intelligence portfolio. This role will lead initiatives that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization, working closely with stakeholders to deliver impactful reporting solutions, automated dashboards, and self-service analytics capabilities.

Strategy & Solution Design: Define and shape the strategic direction of ERP and enterprise BI landscape, crafting scalable and innovative solutions that align with business goals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with both IT and business teams to identify stakeholders, manage expectations, and coordinate on requirements, risks, and project updates.
Technology Expertise: Stay informed of emerging ERP & BI technologies and evaluate potential applications to enhance the business's capabilities.
Data governance: Establish and maintain data governance processes and policies, and ensure data is consistent, secure, and high quality. Identify the people or positions within the organization that are responsible for handling and safeguarding specific data. Collaborate with business stakeholders to design, implement, and configure data governance solutions to meet business needs.
Requirements Gathering & Solution Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements, identify data gaps, and prototype or enhance solutions for automation. Utilize strong analytical skills, to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, and abstract up from low-level information to a more general understanding
Project & Delivery Leadership: Lead and manage medium to large-scale ERP, BI/reporting projects, ensuring alignment with timelines, budget and overall delivery execution and objectives.
Reporting Solution Design: Lead the team to develop tailored dashboards, ad-hoc analyses, and standard reports based on evolving business needs.
BI User Enablement: Advocate for and develop self-service BI capabilities, empowering business users to access and interpret data independently.
Operations: Oversee daily operations of ERP and BI workstreams, resource planning, managing budgets, project status reporting, production support SLA tracking. Lead negotiation efforts to deliver optimal financial and business terms through contracts with third-party vendors /services.
People management: Provide team leadership through coaching and mentorship to seek optimum performance levels and career development.
What You’ll Do:
Manage production support of SAP & Reporting workstreams with regular tracking and SLA monitoring.
Leverage team of resources and supporting team members to orchestrate solutions for prioritized business initiatives in support of the related departments (Sales, Supply Chain, Warehouse teams, Finance & Product)
Provide guidance & coaching to motivate and lead team members to high performance standards and continued career growth
Plan and lead project scoping, execution to ensure commitments are met within agreed upon timelines, within budget and with quality.
Manage the cadence of meetings to collaborate with business stakeholders to establish business prioritization, scope, mid-level solution designs.
Manage the translation of business requirements into solutions in collaboration with both internal and external team members
What You Bring:
Depth of knowledge in ERP system(s), SAP AFS (SD, MM, MDM, FI) with area of focus in order-to-cash and master data management, BI reporting tools, SAP BW, SAP ECC data models, Advanced Tableau development skills, experience integrating Tableau into various external environments, and developing Business Dashboards and Reports
Experience engaging and influencing senior business executives. Ability to work with management and business teams to understand their strategy, goals and objectives with specific experience in coordinating and leading requirements gathering sessions, and executing and fulfilling business requirements
Experience in a wide variety of Sales and Supply Chain projects (Order Management, Pricing, Sales Management, Reporting, etc.) across wholesale and eCommerce channels
Proven track record of effectively collaborating and influencing users and key stakeholders to understand core business needs that drive requirements, outline project timelines and processes to deliver quality solutions, and drive user behaviors that lead to adoption of ERP/ BI solutions to improve operations and/or outcomes
Strong analytical skills, to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, and abstract up from low-level information to a more general understanding
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to speak and write about technical issues for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience with SAP ERP (AFS, S/4 HANA), SAP BI/BW, Tableau (and/or other ERP and reporting tools) is required
Work experience as Manager, Business Systems Analyst, or similar role is required
Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree or equivalent work experience

This is a Direct Hire role with a target annual salary range of $190,000 - $205,000, depending on experience, plus an annual bonus based on the company's performance
