The Training & Development Manager will report to the Director of Quality, Training & Enablement and will be responsible for the design, implementation and scaling of employee training programs that drive the performance of the Clinical Operations Department and promote employee satisfaction. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced and ambiguous environments, enjoys problem-solving, is metrics-driven and uses analytical reasoning to drive business decisions. This role combines a passion for learning & development with strong experience in business operations and systems management to help free 2 billion people from pain.

What You'll Own:

    • Member Outcomes: Execute an employee training program that keeps the experience of Sword’s members at the forefront to ensure member satisfaction and pain reduction
    • Program Design & Delivery: Prioritize and execute training programs that drive and optimize the performance of the Clinical Operations Department. Design and standardize processes and frameworks that will both scale and ensure consistent quality of employee training
    • Systems Management: Manage enablement processes, tools and operations to deliver training programs and ensure department efficiency, including an LMS
    • People Management: Manage team members to create and deliver employee training; work with the Director to grow the team alongside the growth of the Clinical Operations department; create and foster an inclusive and collaborative environment across the department
    • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally and collaboratively to proactively identify training needs for the Clinical Operations dept

About You:

    • Minimum experience requirements: 4-5 years of experience in an L&D or business operations role. Prior experience scaling training programs at high-growth companies preferred.
    • Analytical: You use quantitative and qualitative analysis to drive decision-making
    • Project Management: Experience driving high-impact and cross-functional projects
    • Problem-Solver; Solution-Oriented: Can develop and scale training processes to support a world-class team of clinicians to free 2 billion people from pain
    • Passion for L&D: You love to learn and to coach! You merge your passion for learning with designing effective training programs that drive the efficacy and development of employees
    • Effective Communication: You present with effective communication skills to communicate to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
    • Change Management: You can navigate ambiguous situations to deliver results and manage employees through times of change
    • Prioritization: You can balance competing demands, including maintaining processes while developing and ideating new ones
