POSITION SUMMARY
As a Training Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating site training initiatives and objectives, including hourly and salaried workforce training. This position will be responsible for securing resources for scheduled New Employee Orientation (NEO) and facilitate the schedule within the factory. This person will also book rooms for training, coordinate catering, update and maintain Learning Management Systems data, and manage training center resources.
- Coordinate New Employee Orientation training to include:
- Secure and schedule all necessary resources for each scheduled NEO including rooms, equipment, lunches, snacks, supplies, trainers/facilitators, calendars, etc.
- Guides and facilitates the schedule during the week of NEO
- Keeps activities on track and within budget
- Schedule employee training plans, for new hires in particular
- Schedule resources such as rooms, instructors, supplies, and equipment
- Create user training schedules
- Collaborate with sister factories to plan and coordinate Onsite Factory Training
- Improves, updates, and maintains record keeping systems that provides relevant information concerning training content, activities, attendance, and evaluation for both classroom and (OJT) learning engagement
- Maintain record keeping system that provides relevant information concerning training content, activities, attendance, and evaluation
- Actively engages in and supports Total Performance Management (TPM) implementation and progression in the factory
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- 1+ years of data entry, project management, and calendar management experience in a training capacity within a manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, military, or related environment
