Electrical Apprentice

We boldly go.Job Summary:• Electrical trainee who learns under more senior electrical employee to gain skills and achieve certifications.• 24-month apprenticeship program (hourly rate increase every 3 months contingent on skill progression and associated course work)Responsibilities:• Strong willingness to learn electrical processes• Classroom trainings are typically required and must be logged timely and accurately.• External course work may be requested to continue progression.• Understanding, learning, and gaining skills to use simple hand tools, read simple blueprints and schematics on several different components of the assembly process.• Assist with electrical wiring process including cutting/stripping/terminating/labeling wires, creating somewhat repetitive harnesses, running cables and wire ties to creating wire management.• Flexible to move from area to area to assist with electrical and assembly processes.Qualifications:• Demonstrated ability to learn• Preferred experience – residential wiring experience, ability to read schematics, and/or manufacturing experience.We offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits and programs.
