Trane has an exciting new opportunity as a Service Administrative Manager! As the Service Administrative Manager, you will coach, train and mentor the PA Team. You will be the administrative point of contact within the Region for the Service business, and work with cross functional teams to meet business objectives, communicate administrative needs, and develop solutions to any systems/process gaps.

This role serves as a subject matter expert in the Service business systems and will initiate resolution on administrative processes and procedures. The Team Lead demonstrates proficient business and financial acumen. As a manager, you will help associates initiate personal development goals and establish yearly PMP goals. Viewed as a leader by the business, they will participate in the interview process and administer business standard on-boarding protocols. This role will report directly to the Regional Service Admin Leader.

This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule (3 or more days onsite per week) based out of any of the following locations: Lenexa, KS; Oklahoma City, OK; Little Rock, AR; Kansas City, MO; Des Moines, IA; La Vista, NE; and Fenton, MO.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist Area Service Managers in the financial management of projects by monitoring cash flow, supporting collection efforts, issuing purchase orders, supporting vendor relationships, processing billings, monitoring applied cost, and ensure compliance guidelines are followed.
  • Manage ongoing performance by monitoring and coaching Team members' effectiveness and efficiency in relation to project attainments, customer service, customer relationship development, and business goals.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction by supporting company initiatives, building customer relationships, investigating concerns, implementing corrective actions, and supporting area communication plans with both internal and external stakeholders to provide timely project updates.
  • Lead Project Administrators in all aspects of project administration including responsibility for knowledge of and adherence to business standard processes, analyzing reporting to identify project deficiencies and provides guidance on corrective actions, managing projects to business compliance, project documentation, adherence to safety guidelines and trainings, and maneuvering through governing agencies requirements.
  • Lead onboarding and new associate training for new team members.
  • Coach and develop team members by conducting monthly 1 on 1s and holding PA huddles to share new standards and practices.
  • Establish lean tools and practices to measure attainment of established national, regional and area service goals.
  • Stimulate a positive culture through change management within the Region and Areas to support our growth.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 7 years of construction industry experience OR Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in leading teams comprised of different skill / knowledge levels
  • Ability to facilitate team meetings, recognize process / systems gaps, identify training opportunities, lead small lean projects / activities to drive a business improvements and act as a change agent.
  • Must demonstrate strong leadership skills, ability to mentor other project administrators.
  • Organizational expertise, strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable highly preferred.

Base Pay Range: $69,000 - $91,000 / year

Total compensation for this role will include an incentive plan.
