Content Editor / Proof Reader

Position Overview:

We are seeking detail-oriented Content Editors/Proofreaders to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced mystery shopping company. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, a passion for language, and a commitment to ensuring the highest quality of written materials. As a Content Editor/Proofreader, you will review and refine content produced by mystery shoppers, ensuring it meets our quality standards, is error-free, and aligns with the company’s brand voice.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Content Review and Editing:

- Edit and proofread mystery shopping reports, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to guidelines.

- Ensure all content follows grammatical and formatting standards, making necessary corrections to spelling, punctuation, sentence structure, and tone.

- Collaborate with mystery shoppers to ensure the content is clear and engaging.

2. Quality Assurance:

- Conduct thorough checks for factual accuracy, consistency, and overall quality of content.

- Verify that all reports meet the company’s client requirements, including specific instructions shared by the client.

- Provide feedback to mystery shoppers.

3. Collaboration:

- Work closely with the content the core team to align on objectives and streamline the content review process.

- Assist in training new mystery shoppers on content expectations and reporting standards.

4. Reporting and Feedback:

- Provide clear, actionable feedback on written content.

- Track editing progress and provide updates to management regarding the status of content review.

Qualifications:

- Fresher / Graduate with min. 1+ yrs. experience in proofreading/content editing from any industry

- Proven experience in editing, proofreading, or content creation (preferably in a corporate or service-oriented environment).

- Strong command of the English language, including grammar, punctuation, and syntax.

- Familiarity with the mystery shopping industry is a plus.

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot errors or inconsistencies.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience with content management systems (CMS) or similar platforms is beneficial.
