Qualifications:
- Be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
- A valid driver's license.
- Possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Punctual with an emphasis on attendance
Responsibilities:
- Greet passengers, accept fare payment, and maintain a safe environment.
- Properly report all incidents, accidents, mechanical concerns.
- Drive one of several different buses or company revenue vehicles in a safe, courteous, and reliable manner throughout the contracted service area within a daily assigned time schedule, also maintains a strong attendance record.
- Performing pre/post trip vehicle inspections as required.
- Possess a functional knowledge of the demographics of the service area.
- Other duties as required to ensure a safe and courteous ride for our passengers.
- Drive and maintain the appearance of the interior of the bus.
- Stopping at designated points to load and/or unload passengers.
- May assist in the boarding of passengers using wheelchairs or other mobility aids.
- Required to properly secure wheelchairs and scooters.
- Explains rules and regulations to passengers when necessary.
- Assume any and all other duties assigned.
