Maintenance Technician - B
Transdev is hiring a Maintenance Tech - B at our Hartford, CT facility.

Responsibilities: 
  • Knowledge and skills necessary to diagnose and repair commercial vehicles and equipment.  
  • Effectively work and communicate with employees and customers.  
  • Complete daily safety inspections and reworks while maintaining production standards.  
  • Diagnose and perform all phases of vehicle and equipment repair including the repair of brakes, engine tune-ups, suspensions, drive trains, transmission clutches and other repairs. 
  • Ensure work orders are completed properly and accurately.  
  • Maintain records of all maintenance work completed including parts and supplies used. 
  • Complete preventative maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections. 
  • Other duties as required 
Requirements: 
  • 21 years or older 
  • 0 - 1 years of Gasoline engine repair employment experience or combination of education & experience. 
  • ASE certifications preferred. Must participate in company ASE certification program (company training, and testing) 
  • Mechanic’s tool set 
  • Excellent communication skills  
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug test.
