A little more about our center:
Southview Manor (formerly Southview Care) is a large inner-city skilled nursing (medical) facility. We have and multiple levels of care, including long term care and a large behavioral health population. Many of them were previously homeless.
What you will do in this role:
When you are sick or injured, food can be the highlight of your day. As a cook you will help prepare meals for our patients. This could involve menu creation, working with our Registered Dietician for special needs diets, kitchen sanitation and food safety. One day you may clean out the freezer or the next it may involve talking with the patients to see if they liked their meal.

This center is managed by TRANSITIONAL CARE MANAGEMENT. We currently provide comprehensive management services to several inpatient healthcare centers throughout Northern IL & the Chicagoland area. These settings include Long-term Care Skilled Nursing (SNFs), Short-term Care Rehabilitation, Intermediate Care (ICFs), and Behavioral Health Service (SMHRFs) centers.
