It’s so much more than what your current Psych/Social team is doing now!This position will require daily travel to our 8 centers in the Chicago region.Job DescriptionWhat you will do in this role: You will work closely with and under the guidance of our Regional Director of Behavioral Health to support the teams in various locations/centers.The Behavioral Health Program Specialist is similar to a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services Director. However, you will be assisting in the supervision of other PRSDs, in various centers, not providing direct care yourself.You may be involved with developing, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating clinical services for the centers. This could include, but are limited to, program management, occasional direct care, intervention & supervision, interviewing, accurate record keeping, training, staff development, and so much more.
