Job Description

  • Lead company efforts to secure necessary permissions and license agreements from various copyright holders/scale authors
  • Complete proactive, detailed research of scales to determine use and functionality of the scales in electronic systems
  • Learn and share knowledge with the broader Medable team and company about industry advancements and changes in scales and translations
  • Lead the Medable company-wide initiative to proactively build and maintain a scale library
  • Develop and continually improve company processes to create a streamlined process for high quality and on-time delivery of all scales and translations
  • Create and manage detailed project-specific timelines to ensure deliverables are complete on time as scoped
  • Work closely with Medable project managers to act as a liaison between Medable and third-party vendors
  • Develop and maintain document checklist for project management team to prepare when initiating translations
  • Attend project kick-off meetings (both internal and external)
  • Serve as the department liaison between Customer Success and Legal to ensure timely completion of all legal documentation necessary for granting licensing permissions
  • Assist in clients in preparations for IRB/EC regulatory submissions (including providing all necessary documents such as screenshots)
  • Identify and track KPIs as it relates to all activities for scales and translations
  • Review and approve pass-through invoices and maintain a monthly activity tracker for financial obligations as it relates to scales and translations
  • Support process improvement and development of SOPs
  • Provide training to other team members and help to troubleshoot technical issues from translation vendors as needed
  • Review of deliverables for accuracy and completeness
  • Has in-depth understanding and knowledge of Medable's software and the use cases of Medable's solution in the market
  • Proactively identifies and addresses issues or risks
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience working in translations and scale management for clinical trials or a combination of education and experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills and leadership
  • Excellent communicators both orally and in writing
  • Strong project management skills
  • Prior track record working with clinical trial scale management and translations
  • Team player
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Experience with clinical trial (ePRO, EDC, mobile) or healthcare software solutions (preferred)
  • Experience working in the clinical trial industry
  • Experience with translation and scale vendors

Minimum Level of Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in language services or healthcare or a related field

Preferred Degree/Certification:

  • Master’s degree in language services or health-related degree

Software Skills:

  • Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint
