Transportation Program Manager

TransWest is looking for an experienced Transportation Program Manager to join our team!

As a member of our Program Management team, the Transportation Program Manager oversees the success of one of our many clients’ transportation and corporate commute programs.

Being a TDM and commute expert, the Transportation Program Manager is responsible for building, planning, organizing, monitoring, and collaborating on transportation and commute services, and is the primary client interface for measuring and reporting program success, analyzing and preparing operational changes, engaging commuters to promote utilization, handling support, and managing projects related to the clients’ transportation program.

The role operates in a fast-paced, results-oriented, high class of service environment, and influences the decisions of our clients and our operations team. Through effective verbal and written communication, logical reasoning, and the presentation of alternatives, you will be owning and positively affecting the success of our client’s transportation programs.

Onsite work location: Seattle, WA.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Lead the daily client relationship and execute program and project activities for one or more transportation and / or commute program(s).
  • Be an active counterpart to our client’s transportation contact to execute program and project activities, ensuring client satisfaction in TransWest and our partnership in running their transportation program.
  • Manage scope changes and service optimization to maximize client value through activities ranging from compiling reports on service metrics, making data-driven shuttle route and schedule changes and other efficiency-based problem solving.
  • Proactively suggest program improvements and optimization opportunities introducing solutions to improve service and performance.
  • Build operational documents including run sheets, schedules, route directions and turn by turns to ensure the operations team has clear direction of service needed.
  • Compile, analyze and interpret data generated from a variety of sources, including ridership, parking data, schedule reliability, app usage, seat reservations, forecasts, commuter GIS location data, budgets, rider satisfaction and potential rider needs.
  • Organize and present data and findings to clients and TransWest team in the form of reports, presentations and review meetings and make recommendations and decisions to both internal and external stake holders.
  • Drive ridership and utilization by developing rider outreach plans, integrated commute incentives and evolve rider communications in the form of events, handouts and fliers, shuttle schedules, maps, policies and procedures, online presences, digital media, and other marketing initiatives as needed.
  • Monitor and compile service schedules and other data points to align with the clients billing needs for TransWest Finance team to invoice.
  • Spend time in the field immersing yourself in the rider experience to ensure first-hand knowledge of the program.
  • Work closely with Operations on supporting team coordination, customer service training and operational excellence.
  • Work closely with Business Development on account management and short- and long-term planning for optimizing and growing the client account.
  • Partner with our Client Advocacy team to ensure client satisfaction is maintained at a maximum.
  • Deploy, maintain, and utilize Transportation Management Software and dashboards to support operations, including location-based rider apps, rider reservation software, driver telemetry, and rider surveys.
  • Understand and embody TransWest safety and compliance initiatives to ensure a safe work environment.

Salary range: $100-$150k DOE
