Travel COTA / Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Responsibilities:

• Follow individualized treatment care plans
• Provide treatment to patients for daily living, functional activities, therapeutic exercise, fine and gross motor skills, coordination, equipment adaptation
• Measure performance and document patient progress towards meeting established goals
• Instruct and guide patients for appropriate techniques and skills
• Create care plans tailored to patients’ specific needs and capabilities using a variety of treatment techniques
• Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based care and proven interventions
• Motivate patients during treatment to help them function optimally
• Consult and practice with other health professionals
• Evaluate effects and monitor and communicate progress

Travel COTA / Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Requirements:

• Graduate of accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program
• NBCOT Certification preferred
• 1-2 years of experience working as an Occupational Therapist Assistant
• Valid Occupational Therapist Assistant license
• Excellent knowledge of principles and practices of Occupational Therapy
• Knowledge of current treatment practices and drive to continually learn and grow
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of professionalism during stressful times
• Valid Driver’s License
• Background and drug screen
