Travel Coordinator

Primary Job Responsibilities

Travel Coordination:
  • Utilize Concur to book employee travel arrangements for both individual travelers as well as groups including: airline, car rental, and hotel.
  • Advise employees on the best/most cost-efficient travel plans available that will meet their needs and requirements.
  • Enforce corporate travel policies and procedures; educate employees on travel policies and procedures.
  • Research and compare available travel and hotel accommodations to identify the best available option for each travel need.
  • Understand project locations with respect to lodging, airfare, and available amenities.
  • Complete new hire paperwork for travel profiles and credit card applications.
Office Administration:
  • Prepare written communications as needed.
  • Prepare expense reports; supports employee Concur training.
  • Assist Administrative Team with projects.
  • Assist with meeting and event planning activities both on-site and off-site (e.g., catering set-up, printing/collating materials, etc.).
  • Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.
Education & Experience Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2 years of administrative assistance.
  • Previous training and experience with Concur or similar travel software preferred.
  • Prior experience in the travel industry experience preferred.
Preferred Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to set priorities and work independently/be a part of a team environment.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills are required; strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems promptly.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

  • Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA/HSA, Short Term/Long Term Disability, 401K with matching contribution.
  • $24.50/hr - $27.15/hr, dependent on experience, qualifications, and competencies.
