Our Customer is a corporation that develops, manufactures, and markets robotic products designed to improve clinical outcomes of patients through minimally invasive surgery. Founded in 1995, their goal was to create innovative, robotic-assisted systems that help empower doctors and hospitals to make surgery less invasive than an open approach. Working with the top medical professionals, they continue to develop new, minimally invasive surgical platforms and future diagnostic tools to help solve complex healthcare challenges around the world.We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This role is a hybrid setup (onsite 3 days a week) at our Customer's Sunnyvale, CA.What You'll Do• Gather and analyze metrics from operating systems as well as applications to assist in performance tuning and fault finding• Partner with development teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release procedures• Participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning• Create sustainable systems and services through automation and uplift• Balance feature development speed and reliability with well-defined service-level objectives• A proactive approach to identifying problems, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvementRequired Skills And Qualifications• A Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in computer science or related discipline• 3+ years of Experience Installing and managing below:• Linux systems administration with a focus on Ubuntu and RHEL• Experience managing unstructured storage like NetApp, Isilon.• Experience with Ansible automation• Experience with Jenkins, Git, and Terraform• Able to navigate through diverse cloud platforms• Managing HCI and virtual platforms like Nutanix and VMware vSpherePreferred Skills And Qualifications• Experience with Kubernetes is nice to have.• Coding experience beyond simple scriptsPerks are available through our 3rd Party Employer of Record (Available upon completion of waiting period for eligible engagements)Health Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life (including spouse & child), 401k, STD/LTD, AD&D, and Commuter Benefits program.An Equal Opportunity Employer.
