Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, creative, and well-rounded Brand & Motion Designer to join a small but mighty design team at Treasure. As a Brand & Motion Designer here, you'll be responsible for exercising your design craft and contribute to many areas of Treasure across branding (for Treasure overall but also our in-house studio, and first-party games), graphics and marketing design (to support our game publishing efforts and product marketing), motion design, and much more.

Bonus points if you've worked in gaming!

Responsibilities

• Evolve and create net-new brand identities for the benefit of the Treasure ecosystem (logo wordmarks, icons, overall visual identity, etc.).
• Design original graphics with unique colors, shapes, and typography fonts.
• Develop brand guidelines and style guides for internal and external use to ensure a consistent visual identity and brand experience across Treasure.
• Collaborate with the marketing and publishing team to conceptualize and create graphics, images, animations, illustrations, and other visuals for social and general marketing needs.
• Create a range of motion design outputs - e.g., templates, components, design system assets, micro-animations, motion guidelines, video editing, interactive designs, brand guidelines, social media assets, presentations, etc.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, technologies, and tools and bring new ideas to the table.
• Provide guidelines and documentation that connects and resonates with the teams using our design systems.

Basic Qualifications

• At least 4+ years of professional experience as a designer focused on brand, visual, graphics, and/or motion design.
• Mastery of industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Adobe’s Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.), and presentation tools like Pitch and Google Slides.
• Can work independently to explore concepts from beginning to end, yet also crave healthy feedback loops with your ideas.
• Love tackling ambiguous problems and shaping them into clear goals.
• Experience with responsive web design.
• You’re generative and enjoy coming up with novel, but simple solutions.

Nice to Have

• Experience with motion/animation using tools like Adobe After Effects, Rive, LottieFiles, and Jitter.
• Experience working within the games industry.
• Experience with 3D modelling or illustration.
• Background of or experience within the Treasure ecosystem.
• Experience working with a distributed and global team.
• Knowledge of or interest in web3, cryptocurrencies, and NFTs.
