Engineering Manager - Electronics Testing

RESPONSIBILITIES• Manage a team of engineers and techs to develop automated testers for new and legacy products.• Manage resource needs to ensure testing is completed on time.• Develop and provide KPIs and operational metrics to Director of Quality to guide in strategic decisions.• Develop testing methodology and infrastructure.• Investigate and research new technology to support testing methodology• Manage Tester Development / Validation Schedule• Train new hires• Manage testing methodology and infrastructure• Provide timing estimates for testing development• Provide cost estimates for new product testersREQUIREMENTS• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or comparable experience• 3+ years of leadership experience• Extensive experience in schematic creation and PCB layout of 12V embedded systems centered around 8, 16, 32 bit microprocessors• Experience with electro-mechanical controls - relay control, motor control, hydraulic control• Embedded software with real-time operating systems experience.• Strong communicator both verbally and written• Proficient in Microsoft Office• Ability to lead team members• Ability to problem solve and trouble shoot• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects
