Customer Service Representative

Tri Star Energy is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our Commercial/Wholesale Fuel Services team at our Store Support Center in Nashville, TNIf you are energetic, flexible, organized, patient, relationship oriented, detailed, and able to think critically to resolve problems, then this may be the opportunity for you.

Summary:

The Customer Service Representative interacts with the customer as the front-line support to Commercial salespersons and Open Dealer/Consignment area supervisors. You will act as a liaison between the internal support teams (accounting, IT, etc.) to ensure customer issues are resolved in a timely and thorough manner, as well as provide back-end support to the area supervisors and salespeople so they may focus on sales prospecting.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot site maintenance issues over phone or through email from customers and escalate issues to management when necessary.
  • Visit customers and develop relationships to spread brand awareness and increase knowledge around customer base.
  • Bill wet hosing through card processing module in PDI.
  • Set up customer accounts in PDI when credit application is approved.
  • Create new fuel cards as requested.
  • Handle all card-related requests and inquiries from customers.
  • Work through cases in real time on Salesforce module.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Provide auxiliary support to rest of customer service team and manager if needed.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Marketing, or a related field
  • 2+ years professional experience in Customer Success, Customer Care, Customer Service, or Office Administration
  • OR any equivalent combination of education and experience in job-related activities
  • 1+ year professional experience working with MS Excel
  • Data Entry experience

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior Experience in the Retail, Fuel Services, Fuel Transport, Credit Card, or Fleet Payment Card Industries
  • Prior Experience in Commercial/Wholesale Industries
  • Prior Experience in Franchise support operations or working with drivers
  • Prior Experience in Sales Support or Maintenance Dispatch
  • Intermediate level experience with MS Excel
  • Experience working with Salesforce or other customer relationship management system.
