Project Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in project engineering. Experience with projects involving the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is a significant plus.

The Project Engineer will play a pivotal role in managing civil engineering projects, ensuring technical excellence, and delivering high-quality designs. The successful candidate should possess strong design and technical skills and demonstrate proficiency in industry-standard software, such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage civil engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and specifications.
  • Develop detailed engineering designs and drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Conduct site inspections, surveys, and assessments to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, calculations, and documentation for project approvals.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on relevant projects, as applicable.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or a related field).
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on project engineering.
  • Familiarity with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers processes and standards is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Strong design and technical skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
