Founded in 2010 and headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, TRP provides roadway marking and traffic control solutions primarily to state and local government end-customers, whom it serves either directly or through general contractors. TRP’s core offering focuses on recurring maintenance projects to maintain the safety of America’s roadways, and primarily uses thermoplastics, waterborne paint and high-performance tape for center line, edge line and lane line markings. The Company has a broad and diverse footprint, with operations in Texas, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas and Virginia, and has successfully provided pavement marking and traffic control services to more than 5,000 highway infrastructure projects, including complex urban interchanges, rural roadways, tollways, bridges, and city/county thoroughfares. TRP is majority owned by Arlington Capital Partners, a leading middle-market private equity firm based in Washington, DC.
Opportunity
Our Director, IT – Applications & Infrastructure reporting to the CFO will be a key member of the leadership team and will be responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of software applications, infrastructure services that support the business operations and processes. ERP & Enterprise Applications
- Engage with business owners in Finance, Operations, to manage the NetSuite specific initiatives to manage day to day operations.
- Manage production issues, triage, and recommend solutions for long term fixes.
- Good grasp of Procure to Pay, Order to Delivery, and Order to Cash business cycles.
- Organize, gather and define clearly the priorities to support business needs within the ERP and enterprise apps.
- Engage in functional scoping, data integration discovery and outline solution design for execution by developers, and consultants.
- Responsible for administration, saved searches definition and implementation.
- Create and modify custom user roles to control access to information in the software.
- Manage the finance group related feature enhancements and new product selection.
- Ability to dig into the code, scripts, and coach teams for scalable solution delivery.
- Lead teams with clear priorities, communication, and drive outcomes.
- Engage in ERP technology and operational due diligence, integration planning and execution for all M&A activities.
Information technology
- Continuously evaluate software, hardware, and communication infrastructure against agreements
- Coordinate and lead Internal and outsourced IT Staff, projects, and day to day operations.
- Coordinate with internal & external partners to develop and maintain standards and procedures regarding technology, security and disaster recovery.
- Work to modernize systems and technologies and establish continuous improvements of IT systems.
- Implement company-wide technology updates and communication of updates to user community.
Skills/Qualification
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, related field, or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of experience in IT or business/industry, with a strong desire to continuously learn about new technologies.
- 8+ years’ experience owning enterprise applications, at least 5 years in NetSuite or similar ERP for businesses greater than $100m sales revenue.
- 8+ years of experience managing technical teams, optimizing costs by leveraging consultants and vendors where applicable.
- Strongly prefer 2-3 years of eCommerce DTC and/or B2B industry experience implementing NetSuite as the ERP
- Strong B2B partner onboarding experience using EDI formats.
- API integration experience
- Finance application implementation experience using enterprise apps.
- Scripting and administration knowledge of the ERP Solution
- Experience managing budgets, resource plans and vendor contracts.
- Experienced in Agile delivery methods for user stories.
- Strong business acumen, lead and make decisions under pressure.
- MS office word, excel and excellent PowerPoint skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, team player
