This one-of-a-kind outbound SDR role is for someone with high social intelligence and demonstrated success growing top-of-funnel through primarily outbound sales activities with these customer segments. We’re focused on growing within awesome and unique customer segments – large nonprofits, small-medium-businesses, social service organizations, etc. – and our solutions are addressing real problems for real people. This business-critical role is ideal for someone who takes a curiosity-first approach to selling, is energized by turning a “no” into a “yes”, and is adept at navigating the complexities of the organizations that need our services. By nature this person needs to be independent, driven, and dedicated to finding the “yes”.
What You’ll Do
Work with a small team (1-2 SDR and 2 AEs), and serve as the first point of contact with our future customers
Become an expert on the needs, challenges, and motivations of the organizations we serve (e.g., large nonprofits, small-to-medium businesses, social service organizations, etc.)
Execute outbound email and cold calling campaigns that generate interest among prospects, convey the value of our product, and cultivate leads that go on to book Sales Qualified Appointments (SQAs)
Conduct research to identify the highest-value targets and aligned prospects within matrixed organizations
Use strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to build relationships with prospective customers over the phone and Zoom
Maintain a high and consistent level of outreach and meet or exceed targets month-over-month
Maintain accurate client relationship data within Salesforce
Who You Are

Comfortable with trying new things and finding success with tools or methods you haven’t used before
A top performer with proven metrics in a high-activity outbound sales role (cold calling, emailing, etc)
At least 2-4 years of experience in a previous sales role; selling within the non-for-profit, social services, or to senior care sectors a plus
A rock star solution seller who can quickly build rapport, identify needs/challenges and sell the value of True Link Financial to organizations with competing priorities
A problem solver with outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, and a high level of attention to detail
A seller with a positive, driven attitude (and resilience when sometimes hearing “no”); the desire to solve tough challenges; and the ability to do more with less.
Experience with Salesforce and / or other sales enablement tools
