Job description A US-based consumer genomics company building a DNA App Store is looking for a Back-End engineer. The engineer will be responsible for building the back-end system of the company's core platform. The company is on a mission to help the advancement of genomics and health science. Job Responsibilities: Develop back-end system of the company's core platform Lead software design, task allocation, and implementation Perform testing, documentation, ongoing support, and maintenance Optimize the platform for faster execution and solve scalability issues Implement security & data protection practices Job Requirements: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience) At least 3 years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer Proficiency in Python and AWS development Knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, and HTML Expertise working with relational databases such as SQL, MySQL, etc. Prolific skills developing large systems software design, storage, networking, deployment, etc. Salary Range: $80K -- $100K Minimum Qualification Software DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications
